dad, today is my wedding day,
seems like just the other night
you was here with all of us.
it makes me in tears to know
that your not here to walk me down the isle,
you always had a way to make me smile.
i loved you so much,
and dont understand why you had to go.
seems like the more time goes by, the more life goes by so slow.
i want you to know that i am still your little girl,
no matter if your here or not im a daddys girl.
just wanted to stop, and think of you for a minute.
let you know how much your missed, and take time just to pray. i love you daddy, and i know somehow your still here ...on my wedding day.

omg -i love that. i want to use something similar. would you have someone read this or will it be printed up? I read a poem mself at my dad's funeral in december called 'we remember them.' it was so beautiful.
that is really nice, I want to find something nice for my little brother.

I am thinking about using this and adapting it for my mom who passed 2-1/2 years ago.
