Planning our wedding reception for May 2016, thinking of doing it on Mothers Day, Sunday. Looks like our guest list is approaching 400 people, what are some venues that can accommodate us? I'm looking at Sand Castle, Jericho Terrace and Crest Hollow, anyone have quotes, or can suggest other venues?

Wowzerz! 400 people is a lot lol. You have FM for Jericho terrace pricing. Definitely try The Watermill, Villa Lombari's.. not sure what your budget is but Carlyle on the Green and Inn at New Hyde Park could probably accommodate that many also. Good luck!

Leonards has a ballroom it holds a minimum of 300 but I do not know their maximum...for crest hallow the starlight room is the bigger room out of their 3 rooms

Thanks, I'm actually planning on visiting Crest Hollow, Sand Castle, Jericho Terrace, and Leonards on Saturday. How long do these tours/negotiations last? hoping an hour or less at each venue.

Ours were typically 30 minutes.. sometimes less.. I allowed for an hour at each place plus whatever travel time in between just to be on the safe side.

Thanks Renee and Christine. I have actually never heard of the Inn, but it looks really nice on the website. I will try to check them out on Saturday. I can hit chataeu brians, jericho and the inn in one shot.
