Looking for Reviews on Knights of Columbus in Oceanside, NY

Hello Everyone,
I got engaged on December 3, 2010, and we just set our wedding date for November 3, 2012.
We looked at a few places on a budget.
Finally found one that we both seem to love and this is the Knights of Columbus in Oceanside NY.
My few questions, I am thrilled that we found a place already and we just put a deposit down.
I saw 1 review saying the place was horrible and then one I saw was good and that was on here. I just was wondering if anyone has anymore reviews on it please...
Also we did not taste the food......Is that horrible?
I know we should have but, we have time to get to.
Our problem is the 500 deposit is non-refundable.
So someone please give me some info....i am a very nervous bride to be....I have anxiety issues already over this......

Just type the name into the search bar in the top right to see what pops up. If there are limited reviews maybe check out wedding wire (dot) com or something similar to that. I personally would have wanted to taste the food prior to leaving a deposit however if you love it and left a deposit already there isnt much you can do LOL - BUT Im sure they will provide you with a tasting if you just ask
