I'm looking for a cathedral length veil with embroidery and crystal details. I have tried Francine's bridal in Sayville- she had some nice pieces but not what I'm looking for. I was thinking of maybe trying NYC? I know this is very specific but I know what I want! Has anyone else had luck in a bridal salon somewhere on the island? This isn't something that every store carries, it is handmade. Thanks!

Try Barron's at tri county.. They have tons of veils and great prices .. They also do handmade veils

if you do go to city..bridal fall veils in east village..she will handmake whatever you want with whatever fabric, etc. first she works with the shape you want than you can picjk anything you want..i just went last weekend and i determined the shape i wanted..now im just figuring out the edge. it is a 1 woman store

I'll be getting my veil from M&J Bridal Salon in NYC. I to am getting a cathedral which can be very expensive! She hand makes all veils and the price is cheaper than anything I've found on the Island. Not to mention the bridal salon is GORGEOUS! http://mjbridalsalon.com/

try paradise bridal in patchogue. i purchased my cathedral veil there and it has crystals along the entire edge! :)

Do you have a pic of your inspiration? I want the same thing. I tried M&J in the city and most likely will go with them. They have crystal only and it was about $450, to hand make what I wanted it was a lot more. I was thinking of trying Francine's, should I skip that?

The original photo that got me on this search was one made in Scotland that I saw on ETSY.com. I was hoping to find something similar made here where I can actually see the veil and try it on, etc. Francine's actually did have some beautiful handmade veils that are very similar to the photo I've attached that are made in Italy- but the one I thought I was going to purchase turned out to not be made in the color I need. : ( I would recommend looking at Francine's- you do get a lot of individualized attention there- she's even ordering veils to the shop just for me to see, so she's really trying and I would love to buy a veil from her instead of a big store- but it has to be what I'm looking for!
Thank you!! I love this and it's similar to what I'm looking for, too. I want more detail than what I was going to get from M&J. I'll check out Francine's.
