Looking for things to do in LI

Looking for things to do in LI

I moved to Long Island not too long ago. Met an awesome girl who's just exactly what I need/want and seems like she feels the same way about me.
I don't want to go into too many personal details, but lets just say since I have just moved I'm not making enough money, but also hate to have her pay for anything, even for her part whenever we go out somewhere...
Because of me not having enough to do the things I want to do with her and the places I want to go I'm looking for interesting things to do in Long Island that won't require $$$. I know I sound cheap, but I've left behind a whole life and moved on with no plans to hook up with a girl and only concentrate on making money, which is actually working out, just the ventures I have started won't start bringing me money for a while.
I don't want to lose her! Help me!

Right on the border. So places to go can be in either county.

Thanks!

First off, you don't sound cheap. You sound like the rest of us looking for something to do that won't break the bank.

Fortunately with the nice weather there are more options open. Pack a lunch and go to the beach or a park, go bike riding or take a long walk/hike. Check out the local papers, they always have things listed to do in your area. Good luck!!

Thank you!

We were actually just talking about going camping to eastern LI, then to the wineries. Should be fun!

There are all manner of festivals around these parts - especially in the summer!

Seafood Festival at the Maritime Museum in Sayville is coming up soon. Pirate Festival just ended. You got Out In Sayville any day now. You can take a ferry over to Ocean Beach and wander the streets and then relax on the beach for a while. You can get Chinese Take Out and go to some fireworks show in a couple of weeks. Parks can be fun with the right company. And sex is totally free, fun AND has the added benefit of being good for your heart. Cures headaches too.

Good luck
