ok well i really like this jim hjelm bridesmaid dress (style JH5713T) buttttt its a lot of money! i dont want my girls to have to pay that, plus alterations, plus shoes, plus hair, nails ect. soooo does anyone know of a dress that looks similar to this one ... and costs less?
how much is it? you should go to rk bridal and do the no frills program and you can get the same dress for about $80 off sometimes more or sometimes a little less.
My girls dresses were 258 but thats if we would've bought it regularly, rk told us if we do the no frills we can get it for 186 and thats what they did

you definitely should, my moh got even more off of her dress. Hers was about the same price as the bm dresses but she paid $168. Its worth it if youre saving $80-100. You just have to bring it elsewhere to get alterations, which can be good bc if one person knows a local place you can get it for a better price. Dry cleaners do alterations too. I got lucky recently and was a bm in my friends wedding and i didnt even have to do any alterations, it fit perfect.

good luck, they have a very large selection so hopefully you find something.
also its a few blocks away from penn station so if you take the LIRR its not bad at all

Try calling Pearls Place. I am ordered my BM's and flowergirl dresses from them. They are based in Louisiana but ship everywhere. They beat RK's price by $100 on the BM's dresses and $60 on the flowergirls.
Mich you should def go to RK Bridal, my girls all got their dresses there. The selection is the best I've seen, they have almost everything and the prices are great.
As far as less expensive dresses, try Bill Levkoff, Wtoo by Watters, Mori Lee.

no frills is you order them and then they ship them all to you and you have to get them fitted on your own ... the bridal store is no responsible for them after you get them. thats fine for me because i have my own steamstress.
