Looking for Wedding Venue at a Mansion

Hi.I recently just got engaged and am starting to look around for the ideal wedding venue for ceremony and reception and wanted some feedbacks. I'm planning to to get married March 2014 with approx 150-200 guests. We have appointments booked to check out The Woodlands, Glen Cove Mansion, Bourne Mansion, Coindre Hall, and de Serversky. Anyone who's had a wedding or been to a wedding at any of those venues can give me input in regards to the place, pricing, food, etc, or have any other venues to recommend, I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

I just recently got married at the Bourne mansion and it was AMAZING... Highly recommend. My guests are still raving about the place- everyone loved the food too. I am working on my full review .. I have some pics in my albums

I have a few quotes from last year so they may be a bit off. I sent you FM with some details and other suggestions of places to check out!

I looked at all of those venues and De Seversky and Woodlands were our top picks. We went with the Woodlands and couldn't be happier. We were put off by the euro style of De Seversky but friends were married there and loved it. It's all preference. If you fall in love with any of the more expensive ones and find you can't afford it, be flexible on the time of year and you can work it out. We wanted Fall and since that's peak season we were limited.

Congrats on the engagement. New to this site now but soon you'll be checking everyday! Super helpful. I found my hair and make up girls from advise from the girls on this site.

Out of all you listed, Ive only been to the Woodlands and it's beautiful. A mansion but not over whelming. It was like being at a wedding in a very nice home. If it was in my price range, I would've booked there

I've been to both the Woodlands and Coindre. Both were very nice but different. Woodlands has a more traditional set-up (dinner and dancing in the same room). Coindre has two separate rooms and keeps the entire mansion open to your guests. As a guest, I really liked the open concept at Coindre - it was my first time at a wedding like that. But, personally I think as a Bride I would prefer the traditional set-up. Also, the food was Coindre was EXCELLENT (def one of the tastiest weddings weve been too). Food at Woodlands was very good too. Woodlands was a front runner for us for a little bit. If we were set on having a mansion theme we would've went there. But our friends are such a rowdy bunch that I thought it would've been to stuffy for us, so we went a different route hahaha.

So far I checked out 7 venues and I have narrowed it down to the Bourne Mansion and Tappan Hill Mansion, both were very nice. Can anyone give me any feedback on Tappan Hill Mansion?
