im helping out a friend and she needs to get wine bottles as favors and doesnt have much time, any advise on where to go and who has the best prices. Needed by Oct 1

I'd try Stew Leonard's. The place is hugh. It's on rt. 110 in Farmingdale, in the same shopping center as Jillians & Modell's & Home Depot.

A lot of liquor stores sell small bottles of wine. I have seen them sold as six in a pack.

My DH went to the Duckwalk Vineyards website and ordered our wine favors over the Internet. We bought several cases of full-sixe bottles. The vineyard contacted my DH via phone and told him that if he joined their wine club for $10 (life-long membership), he would receive a 25% discount on the cases. Needless to say, we are now part of this wine club and saved a lot of money. Good luck.
when i had gotten my dates through the perfect wedding planner, they are located in the fox hollow, they had full size bottles of pindar wine. i tried to look it up online, but i couldn't find any information. they had the regular wine label and then a made label that is personalized with your names and wedding date that matches the label on the bottle.

Neicey did the wine favors last year at her wedding and here is the info that she shared with me
She bought her wine favors at DuckWalk vineyards in the Hamptons. (631-726-7555) They keep their own labels but will stick yours on as well. It looked nice, if that is what you are interested in. They also gift wrap them for free in cellophane tied with ribbon.
Teri another NW also did them and said she got a better price from the Pindar store in Port Jeff. I called them but Dulkwalk's price came in lower.
