I'm looking for the cheapest place for yarmulkes. I'm only need a couple of dozen. The cheapest I've found so far is www.yarmulkes.com at $12.99 a dozen (satin, finished with button). Has anyone seen any better prices than that?

That's the best that I could find too- and they have a 6 dozen minimum... We need about 5 dozen, and it's cheaper to buy 6 dozen, than it is to buy 5!
I did a google search, but didn't find anything cheaper on other sites.
My FI is on the hunt. I'll let you know if he finds anything else, but it's looking like we're going to order from www.yarmulkes.com.
Did you see that they take up to 6 weeks to come in?

Re: looking for yarmulkes
I had done a lot of researching for this..
yarmulkes.com was the best- we just ordered our's- without the button at FH's request-- what do I know- I don't wear one!
Other site I found- but prices were not as low was skullcap.com

Re: looking for yarmulkes
The site says 4-6 weeks, but they'll rush them for more $$.
If you order them this week, I'd bet that you have them in time, with no issues.
Good luck!

Are you putting them in a basket for people to take or handing them out?
We are interfaith (me catholic, FH jewish), not sure how to handle them.

Us too- FI is Jewish, but I'm not. We're going to put them in a basket when you first walk into the ceremony room. We're going to put the programs in another basket.
Whoever wants one will take one. The guests will figure it out.

we're both Jewish-- but I think we'll set them up in something for people to take.. Not everyone will want one either-- we are not religious, plus not all of our guests will be Jewish.
We probably ordered too many.. but they are so cheap.

I think I'm going to have them in a basket, but I'm going to leave my cousin in charge. I ordered 6 dozen, which should be more than enough, but I just need my cousin to make sure that all the Jewish people get one. Anyone from FH's side is welcome to take one, but since my family is Jewish I have to make sure they get them.

I ordered from jlowy.com , I think that is the same as kipot.com but they came in like a week and were great and the cheapest site around...
