Looks like my BP is getting smaller and smaller (update)........

thanks for all the support ladies! Its really helpful to know that I'm not just being crazy! hahaha

Things actually turned out very well today. All but 2 showed up, and ordered.

We chose

this for the bridesmaids (in the oasis color)

and this for one of my MOHs.

despite evreything that went on beforehand, things turned out quite well.

I can sympathize with you, my cousin did the same thing to me. She said she couldn't afford it in the meantime she planning and going to all these exotic places and have the nerve to tell me about it. All she had to do was pay 140 for the dress.

I got all my girls to go order their dresses, no problem.

but now the dresses have been sitting at the botique for like 6 weeks and they aren't picking them up.

I'm like being harassed by the bridal store to get them to pick it up. ummmm hello, call the girls.

WHen I talk to them they're all like 'oh we have time to pick them up. If they really need to be picked up, you live closer- can you do it for me??'

um yeah except you need to pay the balance of $100 when you pick it up. biyatches.

and I'm getting married in a little over 4 months.

UGH! Glad im not the only one having BP problems. Well not glad, but you get the idea lol.

geez don't these girls realize we'd do the same for them if roles were reversed? I would never screw someone over, especially for their wedding.

Ugh, I feel your pain!

I only have 3 girls. Only one has given me her measurements when the deadline was a month ago. One is giving them to me next week.

The third has been completely ignoring both me and FH! 2 emails and a phone call, AND FH is in her wedding next month!

Totally understand.. planning has been great for me.. most frustrating part if finding bridesmaid dresses with my sisters hahah love them so much but JUST PICK A DRESS!!

sorry girlie, thats the worst! this is why i have a small BP of 3! My sister, my FH;s sister and a junior bridesmaids...while i love my friends, i figured it would take alot to schedule things and get everyone on the same page (it took us two weeks to organize going to see Sex and the City 2!!!) --and then it was changed last minute!! lol

ughhh bridesmaids SUCK! i remember last time i was a bridesmaid i was 12! my parents maid sure i was there for every fitting! maybe thats what we shouldve done ... had a whole BP of junior BM and GM ... hopefully their parents wouldve been more reliable!

I 100% feel your pain love!!!! My financee wants her sisters to stand on my side... and every time I try to plan something they ignore me- or tell me to remind them when the time comes closer.

I have decided (although I have not told my fiancee yet) that she is going to pick who SHE wants to stand on HER side... and I will pick who I want on MINE.

Her sisters can stand on HER side.... and do their own thing if that is what she wants and I will have both my brother and MY SISTERS and other BM's on my side.

They clearly don't give a sh*t about me... so I am not going to aggravate myself on MY DAY chasing after people who don't appreciate being there.

I would tell your FH to deal with it and she is not apart of your party anymore!!!!!!

I am so sorry that is happening. It worked out for FH and me, because he has 1 brother and I have 1 sister- BM and MOH. His nephew will be a ring bearer, and THAT'S IT! Instead, he asked his friends to be ushers, and I asked my friends to do the readings at the ceremony.

He was grumpy for a little while, then his friends actually THANKED HIM for not asking them to be in it as 2 of the 3 guys have infants at home. Plus, this way my sister gets to pick whatever dress she wants as long as it is kelly green

dont worry your not the only I still have one girl who hasnt gotten fitted and had to replace one BM twice because my cousin decided she couldnt care less and then my sis back out because her bf said no... soooooo I feel your pain. in the end what can you do
