WHy dont you try Jenny Craig? You can lose 2 pounds a week. Even if you lost 1 pound a week, you would make it. The meals are portion controlled.

Not healthily, but try weight watchers, see how far it takes you.

sure it is, losing 1-2 pounds a week is healthy, you could definitely lost 10-12 lbs in 13 weeks! Exercise and eat right - WW is a great option!

thanks ladies. I think i might join weight watchers, but im in england and even though they have it here, t hings are measured (conversions stink. They even use stones instead of pounds, ughh more grief 1 stone = 14lbs) differently but i think you are able to go to a meeting anywhere in the world??

I have been exercising religiously for 14 weeks and haven't lost a pound - i even get up at 4:45am to get to the gym!! Frustration cannot even begin to describe my feelings on this subject!!

I reccommend the South Beach Diet, you can def. loose the weight. Just cut out carbs/sugars for 2 weeks and you'll loose it, it works for me. Good luck

Have you changed your diet at all?
Also what are you doing at the gym, you have to do both cardio and weights.

losing weight is 70% diet and 30% exercise...so if your only exercising, your not going to lose weight as quickly...You need to change your diet. Try the South Beach diet or WW.

If I can do it, you can. I'm the laziest, carb-hungriest, sugar fiend on the planet.

I'm doing Atkins too. My dress is way tight and I HAVE to lose 10 lbs. at least. I have 5 weeks.

Atkinks has worked for me in the past for a QUICK weight loss. Not great for the long term, but it WORKS.

I can't speak from experience, but I have heard that you should change up our exercise routine if you hit a plateau. Just doing something different might kick the weightloss into gear. Good luck!

I agree with what you say about hitting a plateau, change up your exercise pattern or your diet to try to break through.

hey date twin!!! I am in the same boat and will be startign WW next week! I am hoping to loose 10 lbs by the wedding, and i exercise A LOT but havent changed my eating habits! You should also think about doing weights a few dasy a week, it challenges your body differently and may shake things up!

Good Luck!!!

i have been doing weights, but now i have a personal trainer that i meet up with 2 days a week and expects me to do some of the programs we do two other days on my own. I am going to look into weight watchers tonight and the hopefull fi's mom will take me to at least a couple of the meetings before i go home (i cannot drive here, well i can, but too nervous at the moment).

Hey date twin maybe if you join we can keep each other posted...i need a support system, cause im terrible with my eating habits! I am not so much a fast food person as a picker..
