I have that damn Chipmunks Xmas song stuck in my head....
All I keep hearing is the line about the hula hoop over and over......
I am so sick of Xmas songs already!!! (Theresa I may have to kill someone later when we go to the mall and hear some more xmas songs!!!)

I know! WHy do they feel the need to play xmas songs for a month!! Really, I would be just fine if they played them maybe just Dec. 23-25. That would work for me.

And the one with the dogs barking and the other one with the cats is not quite as bad as
'Grandma got run over by a reindeer' or 'Dominick the donkey'

I like 'Dominick' at least it is happy, unlike that song about the kid buying the shoes for his dying mother......geez...I just want to kill myself when I hear that one.

You could always use this on them:
but then you would have PETA all over you. You'd be all over the news, perhaps in jail and the wedding would inevitably be postponed. try passive resistance. Do a silent boycott instead!
Only Janna understands how sick I am!!!

I'm with you. I realize I am Jewish so I prefer not to hear them 24/7 for a month. But I do wonder if the people who DO celebrate Christmas WANT to hear Christmas songs 24/7 for a month? Any thoughts?

Absolutely NOT. BTW Leslie, Andrew has been singing Christmas songs since last month even though he is Jewish and does not celebrate ANY holiday!!!
Maybe for that week I can deal with Xmas songs but not for a damn month.
Even worse is when almost every radio station does that '24 hours of Christmas' and has nothing but Xmas songs from Christmas Eve until Christmas Day!! Augh!!!!!

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For the third consecutive year WALK is playing nothing but x-mas music from the Friday after Thanksgiving to x-mas day. For the third consecutive year I am boycotting the radio station from the Friday after Thanksgiving to x-mas day. Considering the only other radio station that actually comes in at my office is WBAB, this is not easy.

WOW! And I thought that KJOY was bad!! I can handle X-mas music after T-day as long as it's the occassional song!
Now the song is in my head! The Barry Manilow post didn't get me but this one did!!

I love the Chipmunks Christmas album. Always my favorite. 'We can hardly stand the wait, please Christmas don't be late'
