I want to lose some weight for my wedding. Most importantly, I want to get rid of the some of weight that's on my arms and back. I already ordered my gown based on my current measurements. Does anyone know what would be a safe amount of inches to lose without compromising my dress? It already has to be taken in an inch because the 12 was too small around my bust and the 14 is too big around my bust.
I would ask the bridal place about this. I would think though that a little shouldn't change the look of the dress.
i was told today that they can alter about 2 sizes down, anything more than that becomes complicated, and that about 2 dress sizes down= losing about 25 pounds. not sure how accurate that is but that is what a bridal salon owner told me today
i also heard you can alter up to 2 sizes down without affecting the proportion
