Losing Weight for your 2011 wedding?

Original post by ImgonnabeMrsC

I know you are out there...might be a little personal, but are any of you trying to lose weight for your wedding? what are your stats and what are you doing to reach that goal?

Me:

Age- 27
Height- 5'4
CW (current weight) - 131
GW (goal weight) - 115

I already lost 8 lbs the last 3 weeks all I'm doing is eating breakfast everyday, eating a lottttttttttt healthier and running/walking on the treadmill for an hour (or until I hit 400 cals) then moderate weights and abs. Hope to be 115 by 9-2-11!!

I think this is a great idea! I'm the kind of girl that needs to be 'accountable' to someone to make things work lol

I started about 2 weeks ago and lost 10lbs just exercising and eating right. My dress needs to be on order by the end of November so this is crunch time!!

That's exactly how I feel... I want to order my dress by the beginning/middle of December and I am going strapless... The dress as is might need to have the neckline raise, but that's an additional $300, if I can loose a little - just a little - in the boobila area I would be eternally grateful! Its also not the kind of dress that can be taken in too much if I loose a lot more after ordering, so I am kinda nervous!

Haha I know what you mean! Every strapless dress my mom (who wasn't blessed with boobs) was like 'jeez Danielle, you have to wear this dress to church!!' So far with the weight I've lost, the girls have shrunk a bit, but its ok I have enough to spare!

OMG I KNOW!!!!!!! I'm not doing the church wedding but I still want to look you know, like a lady!!! I also have a butterfly tattoo that I want covered just for the ceremony and some of the photos so I am having a short-sleeve bolero jacket made from the same material as the sash in the gown... that way after the ceremony when it's time to get down with my bad-self (yeah I know, totally corny) I can remove said bolero and not be a hot sweaty mess! I ate like a pig today and have decided to start the whole points thing tomorrow, at the very least writing down every single thing I eat. I feel so bloated at night and that needs to stop!!!! Plus, I now weight 2lbs less than FH.... NOT GOOD!!!!!!!!!

Just remember, no matter what WW or the other places will tell you (including the dr's offices' weight charts) those do not calculate for bone structure, muscle tone.... Trust me when I say the charts tell me I should be at around 125..... if I were to be that weight, I would look beyond ematiated (I have!) 145-150 is PERFECT for my body - I have huge boobs, nice hips, slammin' curves (when fit) and even at this weight (way over weight) I can still run a mile on a track, 2+ on the eliptical and rock my FH's world! I say as long as you love yourself, that's all that matters!!!!!! That's not to say getting in shape isn't a good idea, I just don't want to see any girls on here forcing themselves to get down to what they have been told is 'their ideal weight' and start doing drastic things to get there!

my friends have always joked that when they are finally able to we are all going to go under the knife and take some out of me and put it in them! Only get those cutlets if you feel comfortable in them!
