I am pleased again with this episode. LOST is on a role for me.
I totally didn't see Patchy McBloodyteeth coming back. That came out of left field.
Some people think that the Jin/Sun back story is boring but I really like it. Maybe I am a lame-o. Jin's daddy almost made me cry.
I wonder if Penny really was on the plane with Naomi (she said that there were others with her). But, I think that it was probably those two Portuguese guys that Penny was chatting up on the phone last season. Since Naomi speaks Portuguese and all... makes sense.
The next few episodes sound awesome. I read all the blurbs on them.

Yeah I thought the Jin backstory was interesting. His dad was SOOO cute. And how his mom's blackmailery was the reason he had to do bad stuff for Sun's dad. Stupid mom whore.
Russian dude and random parachuter made the episode for me. I also liked the island-induced-super-fertility.
ETA: Did the random parachuter really say 'Thank you for saving me?' or was the Russian guy translating that incorrectly? I didn't trust him.

After Mikhail and Desmond treat Naomi's wound, she says something in Portuguese not spelled out in the captions. It is not 'Thank you' as Mikhail claims. Instead, it sounds like 'Eu não estou só' which is Portuguese (spoken with a Brazilian accent) for 'I am not alone.' This is possibly in conjunction with the discovery of the backpack containing the book entitled 'Ardil 22' the Portuguese-language version of 'Catch 22.'

so why didn't that Sheriff who had Kate locked up get the island healing? He was dying for days. Or Boone. He should have been island healed.
And no island healing for Ben.

I think that the Island reacts to the 'good' people - Locke is 'good' according to the island.
Plus there's that whole theory that baby Aaron is Boone reincarnated because Boone died the day before Aaron was born.
