Lost a diamond

UGGH, so just before Christmas I lost one of the diamonds in my engagement ring (the eternity band not the center stone). I went to the jewler and he said to wait until after the holiday b/c it takes two days and blahblahblah, I wouldn't get it back for a week and a half because they are closed...
So he says if I bring it on 1/2 (today) that I can have it back by Friday. FH is off today so he brought it in. They said we will TRY to get it to you by Friday. If we can't you will have it early next week.

I miss it. I havent been without it since I got it. I understand why they want to send it to the designer but I am unhappy to part ways with it.

On a lighter note, I have heard some gossip around the office about me not wearing it . I am not addressing it, let them sweat it out.

People can be so ridiculous sometimes with gossip.

I am so private at work that it is funny. Anyone else they would have asked but I am a no BS kinda gal. Maybe I will tell my assistant on Thursday.

Sorry you are going through this, just last week my diamond became loose and it had to be fixed, I was so sad that I couldn't wear it for awhile.You will be so relieved when it is fixed and back on your finger

Sorry about your ring..I know how you feel...happened to me a few months back and the gossip that was the fun part!!! people are such gossip queens and I work with 90% men they were worse than the women
