Re: Lost and confuse
I am getting married at Terrace on the Park. It's next to Flushing Meadow Park. I think they have an area for outdoor ceremonies but you would have to ask them.

Re: Lost and confuse
I really don't know of any catering halls in Queens that have outdoor capabilities(I could be wrong). I have looked in just about every borough for a caterer. This is one of the reasons why I chose to have my wedding in LI.
check out CateringHall.com
Anymore questions just ask.

Re: Lost and confuse
I visited a few catering halls in Queens but wasn't impressed with any of the ones I visited. Terrace on the Park was a no from the start because of having been there too many times.
I booked in LI because I feel you get a lot more for your money.
Good luck in your search.

Re: Lost and confuse
Try Water's Edge in Long Island City, that's where we're getting married

Well for starters Russo's is EXCELLENT. FH and I live in Queens but we booked El Caribe in Brooklyn (which isn't far). I would def think of checking out Russo's they do a great job.

It won't exactly be private, but you can have your wedding ceremony at the wedding chapel in the Queens Botanical Gardens and then go to any catering hall for the reception.

I recommend Douglaston Manor! It's not too far from Flushing and the place is gorgeous. I'm doing an outdoor ceremony with an indoor reception there.
I heard Queens Botanical Garden is doing some renovations, but you dont have a lot of options if it rains.
I went though a bunch of places near Flushing too-- Sheraton Hotel/Terrace on the Park/Cafe on the Green, but I still like Douglaston manor!

Oops, yeah. I had forgotten about Russo's because we didn't go check them out. We knew we didn't want to have it there because we've been to other weddings there.
