Lost my job

Hey girls,
I no longer have a job after 10/15. I'm an admin. asst. for a mortgage broker and a bunch of the loan officers left to work for another company leaving few people left at the company. My boss cannot afford to keep all of his admin. staff so my last day is 10/15.

Please say a prayer that I'll find a job soon. With saving for the wedding and a house (which probably won't happen for an even longer time now) this happened at a bad time. At least it didn't happen closer to the wedding. That I am thankful for.

Thanks.
I'm worried about my bills getting bigger since I have to pay almost $400/month for my braces on top of all other bills. Unemployment doesn't pay that well but it's something.

Im soo sorry to hear that. I know the feeling but keep your head up and you will be ok!! I also know someone in your situation who works in the mortgage business and they gave her til 12/15.

Do you work in the city? I used to work with a fantastic temp agency. I ended up getting hired permanently from one of my temp jobs and until then they kept me really busy.

No, I work in Melville. I got the job thru a temp agency so I will sign up with them again. Temping doesn't pay well but I got to do what I got to do to make some money.
