Lots and lots of checks for me....plus update on FMIL dress situation!

This past weekend my mother and I accomplished the following small details:

Finalized the menu, we added in chair sashes, exit table and ice cream sundae bar. Also, instead of picking 5 hot stations, he let us chose whatever 10 hot dishes we wanted, so we did that.

- Ordered Cake Topper - its a 'G' in script with black crystals.

- Got my veil from Barrons....little concerned the color doesn't match exactly, but I'll see this weekend.

- Hair Trail with Mya, loved it!

- Stuffed all the invitations, just need to seal them this weekend.

- Hotel Room Block at the Executive Inn in Woodbury.

- Got the streamer poppers...the ones that stay intacted for the church

- Ordered the groom's cake for the rehearsal dinner.

- Ordered all the stuff for the crypacks

- Ordered damask celephane bags for the candy bar.

This weekend if my first fitting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And little update on FMIL and the ivory dress situation....FSIL talked sense into her and she decided on a BROWN dress, much better! What a relief!!!!!

eta: but FMIL still insists on wearing a hat with birdcage veil and long gloves....whatever, as long as the dress isn't ivory, i don't care anymore.
