It's funny b/c the guy who tested me was my dermatologist. Since I am on the medicine for the hives, he tests my blood for just general things (like complete blood count) every few months to make sure things are OK while on the medicine. I always ask him to run the thyroid over and over whenever he does it since it runs so rampant in my family and all of the research I did shows that people with AICU usually also have thyroid probs. Well the last round came back w/elevated T4. UGH. So he was like you really n eed to bring this to your regular doc and even better would be an endo. So I am in the process of getting an appointment!

yep its my daddy - that is an OLD picture of him but its my favorite he didnt have the beard for the last 15 years or so of his life but thats how I remember him as a kid
