Lots o' questions!

Tux:
When does FH order the tux? We are getting married in Oct. If I want the guys to match the girls, do they need a swatch? Does the best man and the guys match? Is FH supposed to have a completely different tux than everyone else?

Flowers:
I want just stephanotis but I want my girls to have tulips. Does my MOH have something different than the rest of the bridesmaids? How can I make tulips different? It's basically a black and white wedding except the girls dresses (in my albums) have a pecan color under their lace. My MOH has white under hers. How the EFF do I coordinate the flowers? Can a florist dye any kind of flower?

Invites:
If I order them online and the place doesn't print the guests address on the envelopes, do you suggest I go to a place that does calligraphy? Or do I get a label maker? I WILL NOT handwrite them.

Chuch:
Do I need programs if I am just having a ceremony? I'm not opposed to the idea but what information is on a program anyway?

Tuxs: you can wait 2-3 months before to select your tux. The best man/ groomsmen do not have to match, it is your preference on what u like. My groomsmen and best man will be in the same tux and I am not doing a matching swatches with dresses, so u might need to bring one if you want to match up


Not sure about church ceremony, I am jewish

Flowers- Alot of your questions are your preference , if you want the MOH to have different flowers it is up to you , mine are all having the same. Talk to your florist about it , or look on this site for ideas

Invites- i personally like the way calligraphy looks as apposed to lables, so i would look into that , LIW has vendors or other girls here i am sure could come up with a reccomendations for a calligrapher

I'm getting married the day after you! As far as the tuxes, I don't think FH is going to look for them until june/july. I would like to go with him, so that I can pick the color. I guess you can bring a swatch with you if you want. I'm sure it would help.

for invites, I am ordering online so I am looking for a calligrapher at the moment. there are a lot of vendors on here, or through other girls, that do computer or hand calligraphy. You could always print at home, if you can figure it out!

a program is a nice keepsake and lets everyone know who is in the wedding party, etc. and lets them follow along with the ceremony. it's not necessary, just a nice touch.

if you search on here you should be able to find templates, ideas, etc. but i know AC Moore and Michaels sell print at home programs.

Tux:
When does FH order the tux?
You can go as late as 2 months before.

Yes. It may not be a perfect match though.

Does the best man and the guys match?
Usually they all match

Is FH supposed to have a completely different tux than everyone else?
FH usually has a vest/tie/etc. that matches your dress not the rest of the guys

She can have someone different, or it can be the same as the other girls just a little bigger.

You can have white or cream tulips. Not all flowers can be dyed. You should ask your florist for recommendations.

Yes, or you can print them from your printer if you want.

Or do I get a label maker? I WILL NOT handwrite them.
Labels are a big 'etiquette' no-no so I'd stay away from them

you don't need programs, they are an extra touch

the layout of the ceremony (songs, readings, rites, etc), the wedding party and usually a thank you to guest. There are alot of templates available online for DIY.
