Louis Vuitton lovers

I have an older bag that needs a new lining put in.

Has anyone ever done this?

Thanks

Re: Louis Vuitton lovers

Jenn: Can't you just bring it in the LV store in the city and have them put it in for free. My friend has a lot of them and she once told me that if anything ever broke on one of them all she had to do was bring it in to the store and they fix it, free.
Maybe you could call them??

Re: Louis Vuitton lovers

Yeah that's what she told me. Actually she told me that her sister bought a GENUINE LV bag at a flea market sale for cheap b/c the strap was broken.
Her sis bought it b/c she knew she could get it fixed at LV for free. So she went to LV in Manhattan and they fixed the strap free of charge
I would definitely call them. Won't hurt

Re: Louis Vuitton lovers

The one on 5th Ave is not so accomodating.....I have the large mini mongram canvas bag and it got dirty and no one could even tell me how to clean it - They didn't want to be bothered.....

Maybe it was an off day or something, but I would call....You would think after you spend that kind of money...relining the bag wouldn't be a big deal....
