was the pet store in huntinton canine corral? I heard that place is terrible!

I agree! So many dogs are put to sleep at shelters just because they don't have any more room for them....please adopt!!!

Sorry to rain on your parade, but please do not buy a puppy from a puppy store, do some research, they are horrible!!!!

I am really sorry to have to say it, but I hate seeing those poor guys in those stores, it breaks my heart.....

I have to agree....

We rescued one of our dogs, and the other came from a breeder. The more research I do about this, the more adamant I become about NEVER buying from a pet store OR a breeder. I'm sure there are some good ones out there, but the vast majority of puppies on pet stores are horribly mistreated. There are so many wonderful dogs out there that need good homes...Please consider adopting one from animal rescue if you get one.

ETA: If you are interested in getting a boxer, definitely check out the Northeast Boxer Rescue. They're a wonderful but too often mistreated breed. Northest Boxer Rescue Website
