Re: Love Stamps!
Thats true, they are not available until mid-August. For the response cards, we ended up getting birds (37 cents) and for the invites, ours were heavy... we have an Alaskan mountain for 80 cents and the 3 cent rate change stamp. it doesnt look great, but there wasnt much else we could do.... i dont think people are looking at the stamps anyway!

Re: Love Stamps!
Ugh! I thought the people sending out their invitations the weeks before the rate was going up had problems. I want to send my invites out before 8/19 with the Love stamps so I guess I will have to look for something else as well.Blaaaa!

Re: Love Stamps!
I went to the PO website & the new love stamp is sort of lame anyway IMO, so I'll weigh my invites on Tuesday when I get them & maybe I'll use the old 55cent love stamp. I can live with birds on the responses, I wouldn't mind flags for the responses either! I don't think it really matters that much to anyone but us psycho-brides!

Re: Love Stamps!
To be honest, I saw the sample of the new LOVE stamps and don't like them! They're much more modern looking than the classic ones.Since I'm mailing mine out next week, I bought the .37 bird stamps and .60 Arcadia National Park stamps. They actually fit quite nicely with my whole fall theme!! LOL

Re: Love Stamps!
I purchased the flag stamps for my responses. As for my invitations I'm not sure what I will use. Spent about 6 hours today addressing all the envelopes and my mom will go have it weighed tomorrow.

Re: Love Stamps!
I didn't realize that there was an old 55 cent LOVE stamp!? Why don't they have more wedding type stamps? They have to know that us brides use SO MUCH postage on weddings, you would think they would give us more of a choice!
I like your idea of the parks, I am doing a fall theme too!!
