Love stamps? forever stamps? HELP

Original post by Soon2bMrsRP

Hi ladies,
Not sure what the deal is w/ stamps - unfortunately I sent out my engagement invites w/ these ugly stamps my dad got (he tried ) but for my wedding and reception invites - I want nice and pretty stamps but I wanted to get forever stamps that look nice - can I get forever love stamps? where do I get any of these and are they special orders? Thanks a ton

right but if you have the LOVE stamps you NEED to add a one cent stamp with them...

Now I am confused?!
I may be out of the loop but I thought they weren't going up yet.

OOPS im sorry!! after may 12th you will need to add the one cent stamp! which is my case on the RSVP envelopes only. the outer ones are being sent out before May 12th in my case

Thanks for clarifying! I am getting LOVE stamps to avoid all confusion of the addition of stamps.

i think you are missing the point. a lot of us have to send things after the increase which is what makes things more complicated with extra stamps, etc. if the love stamps are the wedding hearts one, you will need to add a 1c to it just like any other non-forever stamp. however, your wedding is early enough where it shouldnt affect you.

thanks for all the info girls - i don't think forever stamps will help me anyway since my invites will need extra postage since they weigh more - i might just get the cute hershey kiss/love birds or flower ones and the celebrate ones for the rsvp cards.
