LOVE THE ROYALTON MORE & MORE EVERYDAY!!
My wedding reception is at the Royalton and it is coming up so quickly!!! I cannot believe it is less than 2 months away!!!
We just did our menu tasting and I could not be happier!!! First, Michael waited until 9:30pm till I arrived from Philly just to sit down with us and go over our menu choices. There was so much to choose and he did such a great job helping us out! He offered ideas and helped us with some ideas we had. He also knows SO MUCH about weddings and what works, that he was able to stear us in the right direction with some things we thought we wanted, but after talking to Michael realized would have been disasterous in reality! We were there for well over an hour and we did not feel rushed AT ALL. Michael was very willing to sit with us until we were 100% comfortable with our choices.
Then came the tasting...First we arrive and Girard has the table set-up for us as if we were sitting at our wedding. He pours us some wine and brings out the salad. It was like nothing I have ever seen or tasted at a wedding before! It was DELICIOUS! Then comes the real treat...our main course. They brought out the dishes we wanted and the ones we were not sure about...just so we could taste them all and feel more comfortable about our decision. The chefs came up and spoke with us as well. Everything looked AMAZING...big restaurant size portions. Then we tasted everything...OMG...to die for! The steak was cooked perfectly, the lobster mash potatoes were outstanding, the fish choices were too hard to choose between b/c they were both so good that we had to get back to them after thinking about it come more. We also had the stuffed chicken and it was scrumptious!!! Everything was so tasty that I am running out of words to describe it!!!
Anyway- once again the Royalton exceeded our expectations and we are again reassured that we made such a great desicion!!! I cannot wait to celebrate my wedding there...I know it will be PERFECT!!!!!!
