Does anyone want to serve a particular meal or appetizer that Lovin Oven caterers does not include on their menu? I'I have this one idea that I would LOVE to serve, but it's not one of their options. My tasting isn't for a few months.... but I was just curious. Are they willing to create something special or do they only serve what's on their menu?

Absolutely (well, as far as they told me). I was very happy with the menu but they did make a point of mentioning to me that if I didn't see anything on there to let them know and they would do whatever they could to make it happen.
Just to run it by them and give them a heads up I would call your BM (is it Carolyn?) and mention it to her. Ask her if it is OK to wait until the tasting to discuss your possible addition or does it need to be talked about now?

I think I remember them saying that they would try to make something for you, as long as the head chef ok'd it. I would just give them a call to make sure it is something they can make.
They will also alter dishes if need be.

I remember when I went to Flowerfield I asked them about that. FI is a chef so he's going to want to do all sorts of switching around. All the places I asked basically said the same thing, no problem, of course if you are changing the food costs to them greatly then there may be a price adjustment (like if your idea has caviar or something like that which is more expensive).
I would give them a call and ask, I am sure they have requests like that all the time!

We changed the accompaniments on alot of our dishes - so I am sure that it wouldn't be a problem. They are very accomodating. I would email your BM just to be sure

I think they might. We have a problem with the Appetizers because my FH is Allergic to Shellfish and Mushrooms......and If you remember all the Appetizers were either Shellfish or Mushrooms or Shellfish with Mushrooms.....We Actually had a laugh about that.

I saw this soup in a pumpkin and thought it was the coolest thing, it was really so pretty and brought in warm and that sense of harvest that I am kind of shooting for. I figured I could have that and maybe the salad or small app.
