Lovin Oven Brides/Flowerfields Update of tasting with pics
Okay ladies
First off we are stuffed! Most of the dishes were great. Now its all a matter of taste and your preferences.
Here is the list:
First/Second Courses
Steak House Salad...My Opinion was it's a salad...it was tasty but its just a salad.
Grilled portobella Mushroom Sorrentino- Now this was a winner for us. We really did like it. But we did not choose it.
Then there was the Combination Courses
Lump Crab Cake with Shrimp Brioche. We picked this one for our appetizer. This was the best and the presentation was amazing.
Mushroom Strudel with Mesclun
This was interesting and tasty.
Sweet Onion Waffle with Warm Mozzarella
this was our least favorite of the 5 choices.
Main Courses:
Bourbon Marinated Sliced Filet Mignon.
this was amazing and it melted in your mouth. We picked this as one of the dishes.
Herb marinated Grilled Boneless Breast of Chicken: Ladies to be honest it was my least favorite but I'm not a fan of chicken. It was tender and moist but just wasn't my favorite and we decided not to go with it.
Lobster and Shrimp Crepe
this was an absolute treat. Full of flavor and just plain yummy!!!
Caribbean Sea Bass
there was nothing Caribbean about it. It was boring and bland but the fish itself was moist and flaky. we chose the thai halibut.
and the winner of the night and was our number one choice:
Grilled Center Cut Pork Chop.
Ladies the other white meat was the way to go. Oh my god this was heavenly and the size of this pork chop fed 5 people.
Deserts
Chocolate Mouse cheese cake, Plain cheese cake, carrot cake, Triamisu, pasteries, cookies.
The service was outstanding
Everyone was helpful and just wonderful.
So here is my review. Hope you enjoyed it. Like I said we all have different taste in food. So this was soley based on what my family and I liked.
we really have nothing to worry about!!
