ok...so we went to go see Keyth from Lovin Oven Floral today...he was recommended by my BM at Flowerfields. We liked him a lot, especially because he knows Flowerfield inside and out, whereas Flowers by Brian did not. I think I am still going to see Pedestals and La Blossom..just wanted to know if anyone had an opinion on Keyth!

I never met with Keyth, but I booked with Laurie at LA Blossom. You really should meet with her. She's got amazing ideas and she's such a sweetheart. Plus, I'm pretty sure that she's less expensive.

Hi- you are getting married one year after me We went to Keyth and LOVED him and his work, but he was way too expensive, litterally double what we are paying for Flowers by Burton.

I am getting married at Lands end and saw Keyth..he was the first florist that I saw...he definitely knew his stuff and is very familiar with all the Lovin Oven RH
i went and saw a few other florists and ended up booking with Flower Michele since they do such quality work and I got more for my money with them instead of Keyth....however if i never found Flower Michele because of all the girls here then I def was going to book with Keyth from Lovin Oven since they are right across the street from my hall

I booked Keyth and was happy after we met with him...he def. knows his flowers and he has great ideas!

I booked Keyth as well...he knows flowers and Flowerfield. He has such great ideas! Here is my sample centerpiece....I dind't want the typical 'ball of flowers' that I see so often. I found him very similiar in price to flower michelle. Kind of midway...not the lowest...but not the most expensive either.
We saw flower michele and flowers by brian...and the prices were actually comparable...they only big difference was that keyth charged for flowers on the cake, whereas most ppl gave that for free. Also, flowers by brian gave us a few more flowers for the price keyth quoted us, but honestly it wasnt a HUGE diff, maybe a couple hundred dollars. Flower Michele we liked their work, but we weren't impressed with Barbara who helped us, she was nice enough, but not forthcoming with ideas like flowers by brian and keyth were...aahhh SO hard!

I went to Keyth also...he came in about $800 higher than Flower Michele for me. However, if I could swing it, I would book him. He is very innovative and creative and he had a lot of unique ideas that no other florist had (I've been to 10...I should know...LOL). I liked him and his vision. Unfortunately, I just did not like his prices though.
I'll also add this...when I left he gave me a mango calla and some orchids b/c I had said I liked them. When I was at the bridal expo the other day, one of the florists had mango callas in their cps and the one Keyth had given me was probably close to triple in size to the ones in the cps. I couldn't believe it!

agreed, i love him and adore his work!
i first saw him when i went to a land's end showcase and could not get over the sheer size of his flowers-- omg! they were so much bigger than other florists... also, he 'reflexed' the roses and made the CP's so full-- his ideas are so different and i just love his personality...
he is an absolute pleasure and i'm surprised to hear that other brides felt he was expensive-- he gave me SO many things included and SO much stuff that it came to about TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS less than the other florists I priced!!! and in some cases-- it was for more stuff w/ keyth (one big thing-- the church, wow he is decorating it so beautifully-- 2 six feet tall candleabras!!!)
I love him and b/c I'm a FF bride he went ABOVE AND BEYOND even moreso than he would just naturally b/c he is nice and good at what he does.
Plus, FF will be decorated that weekend by him naturally since he is their house florist and he told me he would make sure to use my colors that weekend just to add so much more-- no extra cost, just to be nice.
