Re: low carb liquors??
I think that tonic is full of sugar and carbs (unless there is a low-carb brand that I haven't heard of)

Re: low carb liquors??
Also remember that you are not supposed to have asparteme either if you are following atkins really strict - so no diet coke! (no sweet and low, no equal - only splenda)

Re: low carb liquors??
you can have vodka i know that for sure-but what to mix with? i used caffeine free diet coke and it worked for me (vanilla stoli etc) I warn this-your tolerance is lowered on a low carb diet

Re: low carb liquors??
When I did Low Carb we drank:
Vodka and Seltzer with a lime or lemon
NOT Tonic..ONLY seltzer because there is no sugar/no carbs...
Also no Diet Coke(contains aspartame)...we sometimes bought Diet Rite (atkins approved with Splenda) and mixed it with Vodka...they have some fun flavors like Cherry and White Grape..

Re: low carb liquors??
I know that there is a new wine marketed as a low carb wine. When I was in FLorida, they had it in the supermarket and in Target!! I don't remember the name though.

It still has carbs and sugar....
Go for a pinot Noir - it is the lowest sugar count.
