Low Carb or WW???

Low Carb or WW???

I need to get back on track and start dieting again this Monday. I can't decide if I should go back on LC or WW. I have tried both in the past. I lost 40lbs doing LC and gained about 7-8lbs over the summer. Then I went on WW and lost the weight. Now I have about 15lbs to go.

The thing I liked about doig LC is that I never how to count anything and I ate until I was full. I am also addicted to sugar and it's best if I just don't have it.

WW is convient b/c of the pre packaged food, but I seemed to be hungry. Any suggestions???

Thanks,
Danielle

I LOVE LC but I was not successful- it was too restrictive for me. I personally prefer WW because I can eat anything without feeling deprived and without blowing the diet. JMO good luck with whatever you decide!

I agree. I dont feel guilty or deprived with the foods I eat. If I want a steak, loaded baked potato, pasta, bread and cheesecake I'll eat it.

I never deny myself anything and I just stay within my points.

WW is not like a diet but a change of eating habbits. Its a lifestyle change that can last with you forever.

I say WW all the way

Totally and completely agree with Melissa. It is more about a lifestyle change with your eating habits and not like a 'diet' like Atkins or low carb....I don't even follow it on the weekends, but I do so well during the week, I still lose weight. I know my stomach has shrunk wth losing 25 pounds so that helps too.

I've tried both and although I've lost weight on both....I became really frustrated with Low Carb because I couldn't eat certain foods.....and I'm much happier with WW.
It's a personal choice though.....
good luck

I have also tried WW and low carb, and I have had no luck with LC. I lost inches, but not really pounds. I was eating so much protien, that my stomach always felt sick. That is why I stopped LC.

I have been on WW for 12 weeks now, and I feel great. I lost 14.6lbs, and my goal is 15 pounds. I am going to stick with weight watchers even after I hit my goal and become a life time member. I just feel healthier with the way I am eating.

Danielle, I know I have told you this more that enough times....Sometimes it takes time to lose weight....You cant get discouraged. You already lost 40lbs, and you look beautiful. I wish you would just relax and let it happen...You will lose the weight you want to lose, you just need to start excersizing, and we are going to be doing that starting tomorrow.
