Chocolate is my downfall. I used to love Sweet Escapes, and now I cant find them anywhere. Besides Peppermint Patties, anyone have a low fat chocolate that you know and is not that bad for you?

Re: Low fat chocolate?
I just read in a magazine the the Sugarless Peanut Butter Cups are suppose to be really good and only have 45 calories per cup (minis I believe though)
Don't worry, I am obsessed with chocolate as well!

Re: Low fat chocolate?
My answer will be somewhat contradictory: If you're really looking for low fat chocolate-both Entenmann's and Snackwells make a fat free devil's food type cookie that is pretty good. Once in a while when they're on sale I pick them up to satisfy chocolate attacks at work.
Having said that, I sometimes think it's better to just go for that small piece of real chocolate when you need it. Keep some Hershey's Kisses or those mini bars with you for cravings. If you like dark chocolate, even better; it's richer and therefore more satisfying, and it also has less sugar than milk chocolate.

Re: Low fat chocolate?
I bought Russell Stover and Reese's sugar free chocolate...they tasted great but OMG the stomach pains.
So if you are one of those people who cannot eat 'Olean' (like those low fat potato chips) DO NOT buy these.
I had stomach pains for 2 days and threw them out.

Re: Low fat chocolate?
The sugar free chocolates say on the packaging that you should not eat too many b/c the artifical sweetners can have a laxative effect....and, just b/c something is sugar free does not mean it is lowfat, so buyer beware on that bit of info...
For a lower fat alternative, when I have a chocolate craving, I have sugar free mint patties, or a small piece of a Three Muskateers bar.
