Low Floral Centerpiece Or Candle Centerpiece for under $50
Am I crazy to think this is possible? The first thing I'm skimping on is flowers. It's just not nearly as important to me as photography or entertainment.
And since my RH is the Crest Hollow, I have to use Spitz and Peck, Pedestals, or Flowers by Brian.
I'm also willing to do non-floral centerpieces such as candleabras. Does anyone know if these florists provide these?

i didn't know you had to use certain vendors with crest hollow..honestly though i know pedastals and flowers by brian were kind of pricy..and i've heard the same about spitz and peck..i really dont know if you'll be able to get even low cps for that price with any of them..have you considered diy?

My friend is getting married at CHCC and is not using one of those floral vendors

do you HAVE to get CPs from their vendors (I don't remember them telling us that when we went there). Most florists have candle CPs too... we don't care much for flowers.. but they are growing on us. Can you do DYI CPs?

I'm making my own candle centerpieces, I don't want to have TOO many flowers.

can u do your own candle centerpeices or do they make you use one of them no matter what? Out of the three you should go and get estimates or call and find out if they do candles. I have seen so many DIY candle centerpeices on here and if I wanted candles I would do it myself... jmo

I got estimates from two of the three (flowers by brian and pedestals) pedestals was less expensive for me, but i reccomend going to them because the price depends on what u want specifically

Fleurs de Florissima Spitz and Peck Flowers by Brian Party Interiors Pedestals J@ck and R0se (who I don't plan on using).

I suggest calling each place up, telling them your maximum limit, and asking them if they can do something for under that price
Do you know when your friend booked CHCC? I just booked a few months ago.. Maybe they just came out with this rule and grandfathered in everyone who already booked with them?

i would call them up again.. they may just be rec. vendors-tell them you're not interested in using any of those, and just ask what the outside insurance rate is..
if you ARE allowed to use someone other than that list, i would def. call flowers and designs by gina-im sure she can work with that price, and shes amazing

Yeah she booked with them a year ago, and is getting married this July. It may be something new.
I'm almost positive it's a new rule. I visited them about a month ago to check it out, and they had said that they've just started requiring everyone to use specific florists.

I booked my crest hollow wedding one month ago and I specifically asked if the list of vendors was a suggestion or a requirement. Sharon told me simply a suggestion definitely not a requirement. You are free to use anyone you choose. If you use outside DJ and photog they will charge you to feed them.

Hey Marianne! Im gettin married at crest hollow one day b4 u (4/9/2010). funny, huh. when we booked with them. i know they gave us a packet of vendors that they referred us to, but im not using any of them. they never told us that we were onligated to do so. and there's nothing in our contract that says we need to do that either. did they tell u that u need to use one of their vendors? how did that come about?

WOW... that's not suspicious at all....
To the OP, I definitely think that price is reasonable! You could get a great candle CP with floral accents of DIY CPs for a great price!

Yeah my BM said that they've had such disasters dealing with outside florists that they require you to use one of the 4 or 5 that I mentioned.
BTW, flowers are the only thing you have to get from their recommended vendor. You're free to use your own photographer/videographer and DJ/Band. I'll email him and get back to you.
