Low Heel Bridal Shoes!

Hi everyone...I have posted this before but I am looking for a low heeled (not flat but not more than an inch) bridal shoe. I LOVE LOVE the Fenaroli's (cute, low heel, but $180!!!!!), so please please please for the love of god, help me find something with a low heel so I don't HAVE to buy those expensive shoes!!! Did anyone find anything like this??

Thanks...Stacey

Re: Low Heel Bridal Shoes!

i am looking for no more than a 2 inch heel myself.
my dream shoe is a vera wang slingback i saw but i will not pay $300 for them, to only wear for one day!
i find most low shoes to be not as attractive but i need a low heeled shoe too!

Re: Low Heel Bridal Shoes!

i love that fennaroli low heel shoe also, but it's outrageous to spend $180 on a shoe you'll wear once. I'd love to find them somewhere else. I'm keeping my eyes out. I'll let you know.

Re: Low Heel Bridal Shoes!

I have worn a flat in a wedding party and my feet KILLED me. So I knew that wasn't an option but I can't find anything at about an inch either. I am going to look at Craft Shoes this weekend and see what their selection is. Been to Sandy's and Casa di Mario and found nothing and I have my first fitting September 5th so I need to get on the ball!

Re: Low Heel Bridal Shoes!

Here are 2 of them (Fenaroli's) that I love. One has an inch and the other an inch and 1/4.

Re: Low Heel Bridal Shoes!

2003....how low of a heel was it? Sometimes you think it is low and then you measure and it is 2 inches. I have this problem with everyday sandals too...figured I would have just as much of a problem with bridal shoes.

I really want to go into a store and try them on rather than buy them on-line.

Re: Low Heel Bridal Shoes!

This is my shoe. They're really comfortable and inexpensive. Go to www.sandys-shoes.com - the store in on long island but I ordered them over the phone and had them shipped.

Re: Low Heel Bridal Shoes!

Tracey...I have been to Sandy's....and they said I could probably cut down a heel but they weren't sure how much and I don't want to take that chance. Most of their shoes are more than an inch in heel height.

I know, I am picky!!

Re: Low Heel Bridal Shoes!

I think the name of the shoe store I got my shoes at was Hazels - it's in Bayside on Bell Boulevard in a house that's been turned into storefront shops. It's several blocks off Northern Blvd. Near the shopping center.

They discount shoes and did a good dye job tinting them ivory to match my gown. I can have them dyed black now if I want to, but I just know as soon as I do I'll need an Ivory shoe for something.

I paid about $90 and I know the shoe was more in other stores. They had a big selection and the best in low heeled shoes that I saw anywhere.

Re: Low Heel Bridal Shoes!

Don't try them on Stef, you will buy them!

That is what I am afraid to go do, try them on and then I will love them and buy them. That is how I am with shopping, when I finally find something I like, I just buy it no matter what price!

I am not normally this picky but my FH and I are probably an inch a part in height and this is an issue with me (STILL after almost 7 years) and of all days I don't want to be taller than him is on our wedding day!

WOE IS ME!!

Re: Low Heel Bridal Shoes!

Im more afraid of hating them and having no alternatives.

My FH is only an inch taller than me and it still bothers me after 6 years - I think that concern is sort of normal. I said I would NEVER even date anyone who wasn't 6 feet or above! But he is wonderful so Im not complaining.

Re: Low Heel Bridal Shoes!

My concern is that I will love them and want to give up trying and have to spend $180 for them!

Re: Low Heel Bridal Shoes!

I know it's going to sound weird-but I picked up a gorgeous pair of white satin strappy sandals at Target for $19.99. They have a small but very delicate heel. I got them at the Target in Westbury if anyone's interested.
