I don't want to wear ballet flats for the wedding ceremony because I walk differently in a heel--much more gracefully. I'm not the most graceful person in general! I'm thinking of these shoes by Fenaroli, and maybe adding a shoe clip or brooch to jazz them up. Anyone have any other suggestions for a closed-toe shoe with a 1' to 1.5' heel? My dress is ivory, so I need a shoe that can be dyed or is already ivory. I'll still have to make sure they match, though. I'm open to the idea of wearing a colored shoe: blue or pink, maybe. I'm not into red or green. And I only want closed toe-shoes--I don't think my satin dress would look good with sandals, and I want to wear hose, anyway (don't have the loveliest legs.)
It seems like there's plenty of ballet flats out there, and plenty of 2' or not quite 2' heels, but I think that's too high. In 2' heels, I'll be taller than my fiance, and I don't want that. Anyone see anything lower? Thanks! Expensive is OK.

Have you tried Worldtone Dance in Manhattan? They are primarily dancing shoes but very pretty ones and they might have something in a lower heel for you :)

Thanks, guys, those are some pretty shoes. I probably should have also mentioned that I wear a size 11, though most bridal shoes seem to go up to an 11, which is nice. And, yes, I have thought about dance shoes--I was going to do a Google search and see if I could find anything. I've seen those Grace shoes before. I know they come in ivory, and I know RK Bridal has them and has my gown in ivory, so I was thinking I'd go there and carry the shoe over to my gown and see if they matched! I like the embroidery on the Grace shoes a lot, but I also like the idea of putting something flashy on the Fenaroli. Has anyone tried on Fenaroli shoes at Bridal Reflections? Do they have a lot, or just a few shoes? In general, not just the Fenaroli.
