Low Hormone Levels...Scared!!!

My doctor, Dr. Rohan, called me today and asked me to come in tomorrow to take another blood test because she said that my hormonal levels were not high enough. She said maybe it's because I took the blood test too early.
I asked her if there could be any problems and she says, well we don't want to rule anything out but it's better to be safe and take another test. She wants to see if my level went up.

Now I'm freaking out! Has anyone ever heard of this? Should I be worried?

I know its hard - but TRY not to stress out - it could be nothing, like the Dr. said it may be because they took the blood test to early.

My urine test didn't even show up as positive in the doctor's office b/c I went too early. And they couldn't see anything on the ultra sound. I think I went around 4 weeks. So they had to send me for a blood test - and then another one two days later to be sure the levels increased. They did and everything was fine - but I was freaking out too. They like to be VERY careful with this stuff so try not to worry!

Try not to get too upset about this.. I know thats easier said than done.. It probably is because you took the blood tests too early. What week did you take them?

I went to the doctor, got another blood test and now have to call on Friday. The nurse said that if Dr. Rohan said 'Don't lose any sleep over this, then you shouldn't worry.' She also told me that I came in only two days after my missed period, so that's why the levels are low. Well, I feel a little bit better. I'll update you on Friday. I got the results from the blood test. When I took the first one my levels were around 400. Now they're at 5000. I have no idea what that means, but everything is good!!!
