I'm looking on Macys.com to add a luggage set to our registry and everything I like seems to be so expensive! Is it ok to put like a $300 suitcase on there? Anyone else register for luggage?

My friend registered for luggage and while no one got it (us BM's through we'd do it, but instead chipped in toward some major upgrades for their HM), she was able to get it for herself with the registry discount after the wedding.
Register just in case, maybe someone will get it. If not, you can get it at a discount!

I registered for two Victorinox pieces for $450 each b/c I've had this brand forever and love it...they are pricey but people got them for us for engagement!
People can also chip in on gifts together

we did not register for luggage because its a big ticket item that we personally are not going to use very often. we will borrow my parents luggage when necessary.
