I went out with my mom for lunch today, and got this great grilled Chicken salad with portabello mushrooms,etc... Half way through I realize there is feta cheese and I shouln't be eating it but I finished it anyway I hope everything is ok

its totally fine - in fact I think there was recently an article somewhere saying the soft cheese thing is really nothing t o worry about. somebody posted it - nancy maybe?

Everything in moderation. Other than drinking and smoking and eating raw fish, which I dont do anyway, I've had many pf the things you hear you are not supposed to have. A few crumbles of feta is not going to matter IMO. That salad sounds delicious BTW

THanks Dani, its so funny all the things that they tell modern mothers and our parents and their parents did not do all this and we all turned out ok

Shamma-exactly! My ob-gyn told me not to be neurotic about things and to eat what I wanted (except raw fish in moderation). I've had deli meats a few times, blue cheese and even an occasional cup of coffee.

Thanks I know it's not terrible and the salad was awesome... I had it at Nick and Maggie's Steak house, it's around the corner from LIJ a great lunch spot......
