Lunch in Huntington Village

Where can I bring my mother and my grandmother for lunch tomorrow in Huntington Village? Somewhere casual with light fare like salads and sandwiches.

Oh there are so many places!!! I work in Huntington village and live nearby. I would check out Meehan's -- they have an outdoor courtyard if it is not too hot -- or Rockfish, it's attached to Finley's bar, they have an outdoor area too, but I think lots of it is covered. Or ...

Osteria Da Nino, on Main St - seafood
Honu Kitchens and Cocktails - former Blue Honu, smaller fare and better prices, EXCELLENT
Wild Fin - seafood and more, also excellent, I know the chef
Tea & Tiques - really cute little tea shop that has tea sandwiches and is SO ADORABLE. I buy all my tea here.

If you need any more ideas, FM me!

It's on New York Avenue, near Subway. If you are taking 110 into town, it's right after you 'enter' town (kinda diagonally across from the One Stop convenience store on the corner). The owner is a woman named Pat, I think, who was featured in Woman's Day magazine for setting a goal of starting her own business and doing it one year before she had planned ... very nice and the place is the cutest. I don't think they have a lot of food, but they do have little sandwiches. If not for lunch, it's cute for a cup of tea after!

I live in Huntington and I STRONGLY agree with this. Riley's is FANTASTIC!!!! I'm not sure if they'll be open for lunch, you should definitely call and ask. The food is fantastic and they have wonderful salads.

You definitely should! It's right by tea & tiques and Subway - it is next door to Besito. If you are into dessert - get the flourless chocolate cake - to diiiiiiieeeeee forrrrrrr!

Renaissance...its a gourmet deli, excellent sandwiches and salads, hot choices too. It is right behind the Dairy Barn across from the movie theater. They have indoor or outdoor seating, and you can choose to be waited on or not.
