Lunch/Dinner Place Suggestions in Manhattan?!

FH & I are taking the day tomorrow to stroll around Manhattan - something we used to do OFTEN but haven't in a while. Anyway...we're tentatively going to the Museum of Television & Radio (25 West 52 St) to catch their 'What Gen X Watched: Blast from Your Past 1969-1985' show and tentatively going to a theater on either 234 West 42nd Street or 181 2nd Avenue to catch a (only shown at select theaters and only in NYC) movie.

Anyone have suggestions for a quick, INEXPENSIVE lunch/dinner place that is vegetarian friendly?! I don't want to spend a ton of money tomorrow...

Thanks!!

you could go to restaurant row...they have fixed menu prices...

just wanted to say that I so love that museum...DH and I went to a discussion group about media during the Cold War...Phil Donahue...and Nikita Krushchev's son were there...among other famous US and Russian journalists that covered the Cold War...

You can try Zen Palate, they have 3 locations in Manhattan...One is on 9th ave and W. 46th Street and another on Broadway and W. 76th Street...They have a website: www.zenpalate.com. I have never eaten there, but its pretty much the only place I know of thats vegetarian. Have fun tomorrow

Hmmm - I have two suggestions.

1) Ollies - low cost Chinese w/lot of veggie options
(I think it is on West 45th Street and Broadway)

2) Josies (my absolute Fav.!) - lots of veg. options - organic grown food - 34th and 3rd.

Have Fun!

Oooh, thanks for the suggestions! Any inexpensive Mexican rest. in the areas?!

I've been to Zen Palate - on LI & in NYC. Love it there, but was looking for something different.

Unfortunately, I don't like Indian - I can't get past the smell of curry...but I LOVE Thai curry. Go figure.

Yabbo...I am so looking forward to going there. We've wanted to go for a while...
