So I have been on LIW for a while and I have heard of the 'infamous lurkers', but honestly can someone explain who they are? Are they other brides or nonbrides? What do they do? Do they comment or copy what's in other people's albums?

Hey! You are my date twin, I didnt know I had one. I have been on this site for a while on and off but I dont really know the lurker thing. I would assume its people who have nothing better to do so they decide to read through posts and make unnecessary comments. Thats my guess.

The lurker I speak of was not a Bride, or had anything to do with this site, other than gain info and circuate for whatever purpose!!! Mary MOB

Usually they're people that are known to the bride who come on here to read her posts (i.e. if she's 'venting' about in-laws, uncooperative BMs, etc) or to find out about their plans (dress, deco, flowers etc.) and then sometimes gossip and ridicule the bride's choices.

That's so weird, like I can't imagine who would care enough about me and my wedding questions, etc. to read my posts when the person isn't even a poster herself. Ha ha. Like how would they even know I post on here? I'm so confused.
