LURKERS....

are really friggin annoying... especially when they take your ideas and try to pass them off as their own!!!

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for sharing, especially with the wonderful LIW ladies. It's just those select few (who I personally know) who have no creativity of their own and just try to do things first to 'pretend' they came up with certain ideas. They know who they are.

Sorry for the rant! It's just annoying!!

No, I know who my lurker is. They actually outed themselves to me by commenting on something that I wrote about so I know they know who I am.

The thing is that they just decided to copy my entire wedding webpage - right down to the same text. And I hadn't even sent it out to my friends yet. So this person must have looked me up!! Stalker!!

I know it sounds really petty and stupid. But I put a lot of work into the page and now someone has decided to rip off my whole theme and send their website out to their/our friends BEFORE me. So now I look like the copy cat.

Ahh well. guess I should be flattered?

ETA: This person is a 'friend.' More like friend of a friend.

oh yea and my new pet peeve with this is people that post on the same thread 900 times and say nothing. If you're ligitimately having half a convo with someone that's fine, but just to add an emoticon or say 'congrats' to every single person after they posted something is kind of annoying...rant over!

I hate ppl like that Thats why I dont post anything I do until after its over.. I love to share ideas but some things just need to be created on your own...

ooo wowwww that is so annoying - i totally see where you're coming from! I go back and forth with things like this - one part of me wants to share ideas and whatever bc its exciting and fun, but then sometimes it just ruins the surprise of things esp with my wedding being a million years away! If I gave all my ideas away, I'd end up looking like the copy-cat since most likely, they're getting married before me!

I know its really hard to see it this way, but like you said, you should be flattered. It means that she must have loved everything you did, so you should be proud of yourself! very annoying tho
