Lyla had her shots

Finally, since she's almost 3 months old. I went 2x to get them but had to reschedule b/c I was sick, and once b/c she was only 8 weeks and wanted to wait until at least 2 months.

She had 4 shots, one in each arm She screamed pretty bad, DH was helping the Dr while she was on the table while I sat and tried not to watch. But, as soon as he was done and Peter picked her up she was okay, and then I nursed her and she was fine. On the way home in the car she started cooing and smiling at me and then we went to my sisters for lunch and she sat very quietly but happy. I think she was in shock, and almost kind of sedated by it. So, no fever or any side effects to speak of, thank God since I am really worried about that, especially since some babies can have severe or even fatal reactions.

Sorry she cried but at least it's over.

That must have been hard on you, but it sounds like Lyla came through it like a champ.

I'm *so* not looking forward to this!!! Sean's appt. is the 29th (he'll be 2 1/2 months and probably 15 pounds!! ). I'm so glad DH will be there with me!!

4 Shots...poor Lyla. I'm glad she is doing well though. It was probably harder on you then it was on her.
