M for Music

- What is your favorite type of music to listen to?
- What are you planning for your wedding (DJ or Band or Both?) - if you already booked, let us know who you are doing with?
- What kind of music do you see being played at your wedding?

I dont have a favorite but I guess I listen to hip hop and dance music more.
I booked a DJ and went with Tommy's Tunes
I can see a total variety of music from doowop to 80's to the usual songs and everything in between and also boardy barn music!!

I don't really have a favorite type of music. I like so many different types of music...from Madonna to Dave Matthews Band to Iron Maiden. FH loves metal so he has gotten me into listening to a lot of music I never even gave a chance.

We are in the process of booking the band The Projekt. SO excited!!! We aren't officially booked yet, but I should be receiving the contract in the mail either today or tomorrow! Can't wait!

I want all different types of music played at my wedding. Def party favorites, disco, 80s, 90s, some top 40. I want there to be a wide variety of music.

- What is your favorite type of music to listen to?

I pretty much listen to everything and anything but my main choice of music falls into the indie/punk/emo/screamo trend of music (whatever you wanna call it lol)

- What are you planning for your wedding (DJ or Band or Both?) - if you already booked, let us know who you are doing with?

For the wedding, we are definitely going to route of DJ both because of personal preference and cost. We may throw in a steel drummer for the cocktail hour but that's up in the air (will all depend on the $$ we have towards the end).

- What kind of music do you see being played at your wedding?

Wide variety. I know earlier in the night or maybe during the CH we are going to have a little Irish music in the mix for FH's family, maybe go a little ol' skool for the older crowd for a bit and than towards the 'dance party' phase of the evening, everything from 'bar type music' (Bon Jovi, Journey, etc) to dance music.

I have a very eclectic taste in music (generally not mainstream) and I think my wedding will reflect that.

- What is your favorite type of music to listen to?
I actually love country music. I think this is a product of going to school in Binghamton, but it kind of stuck. I really love all genres of music and listen to almost everything.
- What are you planning for your wedding (DJ or Band or Both?) - if you already booked, let us know who you are doing with?
This is one area of the wedding we were willing to splurge a bit. A band is more than we wanted to spend, but we both really wanted a band no matter what. We ended up booking Code Bleu and we're really excited!! We think they can play everything we want.
- What kind of music do you see being played at your wedding?
I just want a really fun party atmosphere. I want some 80's music, FH wants a some rock songs, and maybe one or two country songs
As long as everyone is up dancing, I'll be happy!

- What is your favorite type of music to listen to?
I can really listen to anything, but since I mainly listen to music while I'm at the gym, I love dance/techno and Britney Spears haha I hate to admit it, but her music totally motivates me! I will also always have a place in my heart for 90s rock - i dont think anything beats it!

- What are you planning for your wedding (DJ or Band or Both?) - if you already booked, let us know who you are doing with?
We would have wanted a band, but since a DJ is much more budget friendly, I think we'll go the DJ route. Also, I saw a band when I went to the Woodlands showcase in October. I don't know what the issue was, if it was the room or the band or whatever but it was insanely loud and they were kind of obnoxious during one song.

- What kind of music do you see being played at your wedding?
I want a little of everything and to try to make all of our guests happy and get up on the floor at least once during the night!

I really love singer/songwriter-ish stuff. Read: John Mayer, Eric Hutchinson, Jason Mraz, Alana Davis, Toby Lightman. It's ok if they can rock, too, it's not all mellow, but lyrics are important to me, I appreciate good ones immensely.
I see some of that, but I also see some oldies and doo wop (LOVE 50's and 60's!) And some more contemporary top 40 stuff... trying to stay away from the 'wedding dances' I HATE THEM

I'd love a band, but I don't know yet if it's int he budget.. Paris turned out to be tres expensive (!!!) so that remains to be seen.

What is your favorite type of music to listen to? R&B, Hip Hop, Reggae, Soca, Jazz, Alternative
