M & V Limo- Bad FM

I heard that I should stay from M & V Limo. Poor service, late? Any truth to that?

Can any bride who used them comment. Pretty please... Thanks!

I used M&V for my wedding. I stayed in contact with them often to make sure they knew all the details. They were great the day of the wedding. They were early and the drivers were very kind. The cars were clean and stocked with drinks. I was very iffy about using them as well... but I couldn't have been happier.

I heard that too and decided not to go with them because of it. But reviews on here are very subjective! I read amazing reviews about Majestic gardens, about how great their food is but I went to a wedding there where I literally spit the food out twice. It was the most disgusting thing I had ever tasted. I couldn't believe the raves I'd read!!!

Also I think what might bother one bride might not be a big deal to the next bride. I'm not sure if this helps or makes your decision harder but I think it helps to remember that it's all subjective (except for blatant fraud)

I have dealt with mind V on three different occasions for two different weddings and they were horrible...

One limo the window actually froze open and it was like 35 degrees out and the driver would not stop to call and get a new car. Mind you we all were sick the week after the bach. Party

I used MV Limo for my wedding and they were amazing. I also wanted to cancel with them before my wedding b/c i read lots of bad reviews on them here, but I decided to stick it out, and am happy I did. They were very professional, arrived 15min early, with clean and fully stocked limos.

Everyone has a different experiance with vendors on here, you need to learn that, but mine with them was perfect.

I used them for my wedding and THEY WERE GREAT!!!

They arrived early, the cars were immaculate and the drivers were extremely personable and ultra attentive!

I highly recommend them.

we used them for my friends bach party and they were bad. They showed up on time and took us into the city. however before we got to our first destination we had to stop and switch into another limo. have no idea why. then the limo driver did not know how to get to where we were going so it took us an hr driving around in city block circles where we just got out to walk to where we wanted to go. the driver felt bad so offered us the limo until whatever tiome we wanted, but at that point everyone was so aggravated. then the bride used them for her wedding day and had ordered an escalade and they showed up with a hummer. not a big difference in my opinion, but when u orderd one thing and get another... it says something. hth

i have not used them personally, but i live in the town in which they are located...i can tell you though that i have a few friends who used them for weddings and even prom quite a few years ago now and were pretty disappointed..feel free to FM me for details

So many mixed reviews.... going crazy! Funny though cause it really is a 50/50 split!

We used them for my bach party and when the time came to pick us up they never showed up! My MOH called and they said that our limo and driver was an hour away! Hello you were suppose to pick us up half hour ago now you wont be here for another hour! Ofcourse that was unacceptable they did end up sending us another limo but they should have done that to begin with.

i would use caution and check they have compalints on the BBB> i almost booked them. we then went with all star and they were great!!

i used them twice on my wedding weekend, and no issues, check out my review on them!

Don't forget, eveyone who has a problem with a venodr tend to make sure they post, but not everyone who was satisfied posts...

They have a lot of bad things against them on the BBB list. We were going to look into using them because they had a car we really wanted but after reading all the complaints, we went somewhere else. To me, it's just not worth taking the risk. But I could highly recommend Sir Oliver Limos! They are amazing!! Good luck!

I see you're getting married on Flowerfield - I did too. If NY Style Limo is still on their preferred list I absolutely HIGHLY recommend them.

I've known the owner Anthony for years and he personally takes care of the brides at FF.

I have nothing but great things to say about him and the service/cars. My old company even used him so in 8 years he's never disappointed anyone in the company or myself and family.

I origionally booked them before I found out they have crazy complaints on the BBB. AFter I read that I just didnt want to risk it on our day. Then when we went to go to other companies and mentioned that we were cancelling our limos because of bad reviews they ALL said oh M&V. The other companies told me that they get calls all the time from M&V to help them out because their cars break downbn a lot. I just didnt feel like being nervous about it on my wedding day. I cancelled and didnt get our deposit back but I was very happy with the company we chose! HTH

I am so glad I read this post. FH and I were looking at a few of the Limo websites this weekend and we found that they had the car we wanted but after reading this I can safely say I will not be booking them. Thanks Ladies.

What other companies are worth looking into?

I am not using them for my wedding, but I did use them on two separate occasions for my junior and senior proms. Although these things were almost 10 years ago (oy!) I have to say they were AWESOME - limos were clean and timely both times. I don't know if this is of any help to you, but I hope so.
