I just called MAC and asked them if they would be able to help me choose makeup for my wedding day. The girl said that this requires a consultation and it costs $50!!!
Has anyone heard of this??!?

from what i know my friend used to work there and you have to buy 4 products and you get a make up trial.

Yeah thats normal. I was going to a party after work and went across the st to Henry Bendel Mac to get my makeup done and they told me that much also, I think higher acutally.

See, this makes sense to me, as well as what Milerose said. I would buy the products if I liked the makeup and I wouldn't mind paying the $50 if I wasn't happy with the outcome.
Do you girls know if MAC Cosmetics are good for problem skin? I tend to break out

When I had my make up done there for my e-pics....I had to buy $50 worth of merchandise...I bought lipsticks and eye liner and mascara b/c I prefer the bare escentuals foundation

I had a trial at the MAC store in Harlem in Oct. and I was charged $40. I didn't like the look or the artist, so I didn't bother going there again. But I guess if you want a full face there's a charge because my friend had visited the store previously had her make up done and she didn't pay a thing.

It is 50 you have to buy products adding up to 50 bucks price may vary but that is what I have always heard of. I know people who went there without mentioning wedding and go quoted the same price. I know some are way more. They are the same the day of if you to mac on your wedding day. My cousin did that with her BM they went to the mall the day of and had it done for 50.
