Pics are in my album from a trial I had last Friday at MAC in Bloomingdales. I think the eyes may be too much. Sorry I didn't post them- they are too big.

Re: MAC trial
Im not one for black eyeliner. To me it looked silly. I don't wear a lot of makeup so that may be why. Im prolly gonna get a trial with a woman I spoke to at Bobbi Brown and see what she does.

Re: MAC trial
i agree, i don't think it looks like too much at all...but if you're not used to seeing yourself w any eye makeup then i can see why you feel that way.
i think you look really pretty!!

Re: MAC trial
The pic in my aviator is from my sisters wedding and the girl who did my makeup used brown eyeliner which i think is less severe. I think I may ask for people to use that rather than black. And maybe use brown mascara as well.

I understand, its hard to get used to. But its a day to glam it up just a little, not overboard though

Re: MAC trial
Very nice, and very subtle. I never considered MAC for my wedding because every time they did my makeup it was so over dramatic, but then again, I did go when I was about 19 or 20, so I guess they gave me a party face.
Your face looks really good, very natural.

Re: MAC trial
you look very pretty and I think the eyes are perfect...really for pics they could even have more makeup. I always hear thay for big events and pics eyes should look dramatic...

Re: MAC trial
Gina you look awesome! I think the eyes are great. But in the end YOU have to like it. The black liner really isnt harsh in the photos at all, keep that in mind that makeup is usually done a little differant for photography reasons.

Re: MAC trial
Thanks girls! Your all so sweet and reassuring!! But I think that Im gonna def try a Bobbi Brown person i have spoken with as well as maybe trying Bare Minerals- except that it has SPF and I know that is bad for photos cus it reflects. But we shall see! Ill test it with FH's camera!
I forgot to mention that when i looked in the mirror, to me, it looked like a lot more makeup than it does in the pictures... not sure why!

ask your photographer if they have ever had an issue with it... I know several who have said the whole reflection thing is a myth. Testing with a normal at home camera won't be the same as using a professional grade one, so don't base it off of that you know?
Good luck on your quest. Bobbi Brown does a great job with the natural look.
