I'm thinking of getting DH a Mac laptop for Christmas. He's not too tech savvy so nothing crazy, and something durable. Problem is, I am a PC girl all the way. (I know BOO, HISS! ) So I'm going way out of my comfort zone on this one. Would anyone mind telling me about your mac laptop and if you'd recommend it? Also, pricing would be excellent! TIA ladies!
It's just a basic 13' screen laptop. We bought it in June for $1,000 and really like it. The thing we like best it that it's super easy to set up. Also, the virus protection is really good on it.

I was nervous when I got mine, but honestly it isn't too much different. I have a 13 inch macbook. I think it was also around 1k.

I have a MacBook Pro...think it was around 1,500
eta: i LOVE it....I have an HP laptop also but the Mac is so much nicer...& it's not too difficult to get used to

I was so nervous when I bought my macbook but I LOVE it and will never buy another PC again. Even DH, and both of my parents went out and bought macbooks after I got mine. They are super easy to navigate. I would totally recommend it. I got mine from best buy because their warranty covers accidental damage and apple's warranty does not. Best Buy told me that even if I ran the laptop over with the car I would get a brand new one no questions asked.

i just bought my mom a pretty nice laptop for christmas on newegg for $350. its not a macbook but she doesn't know what a macbook is anyway lol
