Macy's - Bay Shore location

Macy's - Bay Shore location

I went there yesterday to return/exchange two pieces of my china which was purchased at the Huntington Macys then shipped to my house. The sales women at Huntington told me to check each piece when it arrived and bring any damaged pieces to any Macys. Well it took about 40 mins for three sales women to put it in the computer b.c. none of them knew what they were doing. In addition they tried to get me to take display pieces they had (one with a spot) instead of getting me new pieces, they were VERY rude to me asked if I was registered there 3+ times, told me I should have gone to Huntington since it was purchased there with a huge attitude, at one point the women (who was holding the invoice asks me if i even purchased the china at a Macys, when needing to take my shipping information the women was like ugh we are going to have to do a lot of this. Somehow I managed not to scream or give an attitude to any of the sales women and my china is being sent to me. I just wanted to let you Brides know that you may be much better off avoiding this Macys location.

That stinks! I had an ugly experience in the shoe dept at Macy's last week at Smithaven Mall - had a rude sales person she was fighting with another sales person over who was helping me. Needless to say I didn't buy a thing there...

It depends on who you get. I shop at that Macy's every Christmas with my father. We've gotten my mother some really nice pieces of kitchenware and the staff is usually very helpful.

It stinks that you had a bad experience!

I wish people would stop being so rude!!!!!!!!
