Macy's Bridal
I wanted to post this sooner, but life was crazy in the days prior to the wedding. My mom ordered her dress from Macy's bridal - she's a plus size and its difficult to find a dress in her size off the rack that is dressy and not black. We went everywhere. She had seen a dress in Macy's bridal and we decided to order it. It was more expensive than she had planned, but she's worth it. ANyway - we ordered about two months prior to the wedding - asked if it needed to be rushed, but they said no. They told us it would be delivered at the beginning of April - my wedding was May 4th. Beggining of April, we called - they said it would be delivered April 27th - panic time - we knew she would need alterations...She started shopping around 'just in case'. April 27th arrived - still no dress. three days before the wedding - they finally admitted - it was never shipped - or 'its held up in customs'. They did offer her two dresses to choose from in similar colors (who knows what style) - but at that point she had a back up dress ready and decided to wear that. It turned out ok, but it added to the stress of (its three days before the wedding and my mom still doesn't have her dress!) I just wanted eveyone to be forewarned - they also sell bridal gowns and I would hate for this to happen to anyone else - mother or bride....
